A prominent pharmaceutical company in the U.S has begun labelling their products ‘Gluten-free’ to help sufferers of celiac disease- a condition that causes them to react negatively to Gluten- a protein found in wheat, barley and rye.
Perrigo – a global leader of “store-brand” over-the-counter medications, including pain relievers and cold/flu medications, implemented the changes as part of their movement to help alleviate the stress associated with trying to find products that are safe for sufferers.
