The French drug maker Sanofi has announced the world’s first epinephrine auto-injector with audio and visual cues that guides users through the injection process for severe allergic reactions.
Called Auvi-Q (epinephrine) the company says the state-of-the-art epinephrine auto-injector device addresses the needs of patients at risk for life-threatening allergic reactions and their caregivers.
The Food and Drug Administration has approved the voice-guided injection device.
